Spend Christmas Day in London, Oxford, Stratford, and the Cotswalds

This Christmas Day Tour begins from the world renowned city of London itself to many other attractions in England including Oxford Stratford, and Cotswolds.

The tour

The guided Christmas Day Tour begins with a tour of London in which you will be able to see all of the premier attractions including the Tower of London, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben and many more.

Christmas Lunch Thereafter the tour will head to Oxford for a festive walk through the historic university town where the tour will pass through the ivy-clad colleges and the great honey coloured buildings. The walking tour also passes the Christ Church, the place where Lewis Caroll wrote his enchanting tales of Alice in Wonderland. The area is also where the more recent movies of Harry Potter were filmed. The guide explains the traditions of college life as you take in famous college buildings such as the Romanesque Radcliffe Camera and The Ashmolean, the oldest museum in the UK.
Afterwars the tour will travel into the limestone hills of the Cotswolds, a beautiful region made famous by the wool merchants of the 14th century. These merchants helped build some of the great manor houses and perpendicular Churches. Moreover, there will be time to stop and take photos outside Blenheim Palace, where Sir Winston Churchill was born, before journeying to the pittoresque village of Newbold-on-Stour for Christmas Day lunch.
Sit back, relax, and enjoy a delicious roasted turkey followed by traditional Christmas pudding served at a charming Elizabethan pub. During lunch, the Christmas festivities of the local village will commence. The Inn carries a superb collection of fine wines and ale. In the afternoon the tour continues on to Stratford upon Avon passing by Anne Hathaway's cottage before arriving to the pleasant market town. Of course the town is famous for William Shakespeare, England's most famous writer who was both born and buried in the town. The walking tour will pass both his birthplace and his resting place at the beautiful Holy Trinity Church.
